The holder of the rental agreement must be at least 18 years old.  
    The driver must hold a valid and appropriate driving licence, which must be presented when signing the contract. Digital copies, photocopies, photographs, damaged or illegible licences, temporary licences, and police reports for a lost licence are not accepted (unless accompanied by a valid provisional driving permit recognised in Italy).
    If the driving licence has been held for less than 1 year, a young driver surcharge will always apply.
    The minimum age requirements are as follows:
    18 years for vehicles in categories S1, S2  (50cc to 125cc scooters) 
    18 years (a young driver surcharge applies to drivers under 21 years of age) for vehicles in categories S3, S4, S5, M1, M2, M4, A1, A2, A3, A4 MEDIUM
    21 years and a driving licence held for a minimum of 24 months  for vehicles in categories A4 NEW, S6, M3, M5
    23 years  and a driving licence held for a minimum of 24 months for vehicles in categories  A5, A6, A7, A8, A9, M6, M7
    25 years  and a driving licence held for a minimum of 24 months for vehicles in categories A9-b, M8, M9

The Customer will provide for the advance payment of the rental according to the result of the rental contract.
Payment can be made by credit / debit card, debit card or cash. Upon collection of the vehicle will be required a SECURITY DEPOSIT (necessary as a guarantee in case of damage, etc.) to be paid by credit card VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS. For certain vehicle classes, the deposit can be paid in cash or with a debit card or with a prepaid card (BANCOMAT cards from MAESTRO Circuit are excluded). When depositing in cash or by debit / prepaid card an additional one-time fee of €10 (€15 for specific vehicle categories) will be charged.

The base rate includes:

• Third-party liability insurance (TPI) covering damages to third parties resulting from the use of the vehicle by the Customer and any other authorized driver approved by the rental company(a minimum excess may apply depending on the protection plan chosen).
• Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), which reduces the customer's liability for damages caused to the rented vehicle in the event of an accident with other vehicles. The deductible for this type of damage varies depending on the vehicle and is indicated in the details of each category immediately after the CDW abbreviation.

• A mileage limitation that varies depending on the type of vehicle and the selected rate (more information will be displayed during the quotation process/booking).
• The driver's helmet when renting a motorbike or scooter
• Rates always include VAT and taxes.

You can request one or more additional drivers. Each additional driver costs € 4 a day.

Reservations by telephone or e-mail are not accepted unless previously agreed with the management.
The online booking is considered completed only after payment by credit card or Pay Pal account and remains, in any case, subject to confirmation by CarBusTec within 24h from the payment.
In the event that the reservation can not be confirmed, we will refund the amount paid by crediting the credit card or Pay Pal account and promptly inform the Customer.

100% If the cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the scheduled withdrawal time or in case of no show.
50% (minimum € 50) if cancellation is made between 24 hours and 72 hours before the expected collection time.
10% (minimum € 35) if cancellation is made between 72 hours and 7 days before the expected collection time.
5%    (minimum€ 25) if cancellation is made 7 days or more before the expected collection time.
The refund will be made in the same method of payment used during the booking.
N.B. The lack of one of the basic requirements  described above the order is considered canceled. In this case,the reservation is non-refundable unless otherwise decided by the management.

The rented vehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel present at the pick-up time, as resulting in the rental contract.
Any excess fuel does not entitle you to any refund. The return of the vehicle with a lower fuel level  being charged for the costs needful for restoring the exit level, in addition to the normal supply service quantified in € 10.
The lack of documents or accessories of the vehicle will be sanctioned in accordance with the rental contract and the tables attached to it.
No refund will be given for vehicles returned earlier or picked up later than agreed.
 

Deliveries out of rental time terms (there is a tolerance of 30 minutes) will be charged of € 100 per day plus the rental rate specified in the contract unless prior authorization is obtained from CarBusTec

Use of the rented vehicle outside Sardinia Island is it possible only under Carbustec authorization.
